Planet is based on the 2ft gauge light industrial locomotives manufactured by F.C. Hibbard and Co at their Park Royal works in London. The model features an all steel bonnet and full cab and incorporates the distinctive Planet radiator and makers plates.
These engines were common in industrial service, both narrow and standard gauge, and were found at many naval dockyards. Our locomotive has a twelve volt car battery housed under the bonnet, driving two low speed high torque motor on each axle through an all gear drive giving 120watts of power per axle!
It is also fitted with spring suspension, full electronic control and a wealth of detail. The Maxitrak 5 inch Planet is available as a painted kit or ready to run model.

Delivery
Goods are sent by the cheapest method appropriate to the size of the package anywhere in the world. This will generally be (UK post) post or carriers standard overnight service. (Europe and the rest of the world) post or carriers standard 7day service. Items in excess of 600mm (2ft) all sheet material and castings will incur additional packing, which must be allowed for. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage unless notified immediately and confirmed in writing within 7 working days of the date of dispatch.
Delivery cost will be calculated by weight, by that we mean you only pay for the weight of the item you buy, Prices will be to door no matter what part of the world you are in, Prices will be shown in the currency you set your system to ie £GBP, $USD, €EURO.

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
The cancellation of any order or service within 7 working days will not incur a penalty. This period runs from the day the contract is concluded for services & the day after the day of delivery for goods. After this all order & services will be subject to a 20% administration charge. Defective items will be replaced free of charge; any other item returned to us will incur a restocking charge of 20%. We do not supply books on approval.
