Concept: To build an electric railway in a farm park in southern Scotland, to pull up to 50 passengers at a time, low maintenance, low noise, battery electric steam outline.
Build Time 12-14 months, from concept to opening.
Process: feasibility study. Site survey and drawings, confirmation of proposed design from client, Build schedule set for models and rolling stock, Track laid in 3-4 weeks on site. locomotive no1 and roiling stock built in Staplehurst, delivered to site for testing. Locomotive no2 delivery to site and commissioned.
Model Spec: 10 1/4" Battery powered steam outline, capacity 50 persons, run time 9 hours per day, live steam sound, water vapor steam generator. Low maintenance mechanical locomotive drive system, additional mechanical brake on tender, weight rated anti breakaway safety chains, roof coverings with safe edges, locking chain doors, recycled all weather plastic seating, anti slip checker pate flooring, low maintenance sealed bogie bearings, Hi quality 5 year guarantee Battery pack with automatic cell top-up system. All shafts & Axels running in sealed bearings. Wheel chair access with carer seating area.
Track Spec: Steel 65mm rail, stainless steel A2 screws and washers, 100 x 100 recycled plastic sleepers.
In service since July 2021 to date.
Goods are sent by the cheapest method appropriate to the size of the package anywhere in the world. This will generally be (UK post) post or carriers standard overnight service. (Europe and the rest of the world) post or carriers standard 7day service. Items in excess of 600mm (2ft) all sheet material and castings will incur additional packing, which must be allowed for. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage unless notified immediately and confirmed in writing within 7 working days of the date of dispatch.
Delivery cost will be calculated by weight, by that we mean you only pay for the weight of the item you buy, Prices will be to door no matter what part of the world you are in, Prices will be shown in the currency you set your system to ie £GBP, $USD, €EURO.

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
The cancellation of any order or service within 7 working days will not incur a penalty. This period runs from the day the contract is concluded for services & the day after the day of delivery for goods. After this all order & services will be subject to a 20% administration charge. Defective items will be replaced free of charge; any other item returned to us will incur a restocking charge of 20%. We do not supply books on approval.
