5 Inch Gauge Brush 0-4-0
This locomotive was built in 1958 by Brush Engineering as one of a batch of demonstration diesel electric locomotives, for shunting or industrial use. It was the only one taken into British Railways ownership, as a single non standard locomotive its life was short, it only lasted until 1967 when it was broken up.
However other similar locomotives worked in the South Wales steel industry for a number of years. When they were eventually retired one of the them was taken into preservation and painted to represent the long lost original British Railways locomotive. There are some detail differences between the two such as the headlight etc, our model is of the original engine as running on British Railways in the late 1950s.
Our model is a highly detailed "standard gauge" locomotive which houses a 12 volt car battery under the GRP body, its 4 motors (2 per axle) give it the capacity to pull 6 persons on a level track. Striving to keep the detail of the full size model the Brush GRP body has vents, window frames and door detail as standard giving even the total beginner a good level of detail or the experienced modeler a great start on super detailing the model.
The 5" Brush is a stocked model with a lead time dependent on which form it is supplied in.

Goods are sent by the cheapest method appropriate to the size of the package anywhere in the world. This will generally be (UK post) post or carriers standard overnight service. (Europe and the rest of the world) post or carriers standard 7day service. Items in excess of 600mm (2ft) all sheet material and castings will incur additional packing, which must be allowed for. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage unless notified immediately and confirmed in writing within 7 working days of the date of dispatch.
Delivery cost will be calculated by weight, by that we mean you only pay for the weight of the item you buy, Prices will be to door no matter what part of the world you are in, Prices will be shown in the currency you set your system to ie £GBP, $USD, €EURO.

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
The cancellation of any order or service within 7 working days will not incur a penalty. This period runs from the day the contract is concluded for services & the day after the day of delivery for goods. After this all order & services will be subject to a 20% administration charge. Defective items will be replaced free of charge; any other item returned to us will incur a restocking charge of 20%. We do not supply books on approval.
