5in Hunslet Jack

A rare opportunity to get your hands on an iconic Maxitrak Hunslet locomotive.

Originally supplied in 1898, this locomotive was built by Hunslet to 18" gauge and spent its entire working life of sixty years at the John Knowles & Company Clay Processing Works, near Woodville in Leicestershire.

Factory finished and lined to a high standard it has been extensively reworked by us and will have the currently missing parts manufactured before shipping. Currently missing the following; top cylinder covers, arms for sandboxes, dummy pipework on dummy injectors, drain pipes on draincocks. These parts can be completed before being shipped or missing parts can follow on later as they should not affect the running of the engine.

Brand new and unused copper TIG welded boiler with full certification including letter of conformity.

Fitted with a hand pump, axle pump, injector and mechanical lubricator, a brand new and unused locomotive that hasn't ever seen a track.
