5 Inch Gauge OS Dorte

Bit hard to come by these days as OS have stopped live steam production but this Dorte is a German Koppel Style 5" tank engine, has a few oddities that we are not used to like the quick release boiler setup, sealed roller bearings on the main axels and sprung loaded reverser but all in all it seems mechanically good and sound, silver soldered boiler and lots of nice brass fittings. looking at the size of it i would rate it to pull 4 persons and it is easily transportable by one person. It has an axel pump, hand pump and mechanical lubricator and the capacity to run it on coal or propane gas all parts supplied, lots of spare 'o' rings and parts and as per all OS models a comprehensive set of engineering drawings, Japanese pression engineered model with very little use!

(sorry a little research shows it to be an easy to carry setup, the cab and boiler are easily removed to keep down carrying weight, email me if you want some pics!)
