5 Inch Gauge Maxitrak Dixie

This model has been built from a kit and has been on static display so has never seen a fire! Consequently, it is unused. Lots of nice details as it has sandboxes, proper Hackworth valve gear, injector & brake, it will need properly commissioning at it is new but it will be offered in full working condition with a new hydraulic certificate.

Dixie is a 0-4-0ST is based upon the Kerr Stuart "Wren" class locomotive. These popular diminutive little locomotives were widely used in industry and several survive in preservation today. The images make this one look a funny colour, so please be aware the colour is different in person.

All our models are hydraulic tested before going to their new homes and provided with a certificate valid for 4 years. Models that already have valid certification may not be reissued.
