When ordering in kit format you will recieve a kit of painted parts, instruction manual and the reassurance that Maxitrak are only a call away should you require assistance.
Amongst the various types of quarry Hunslet the smallest and most common is the Alice.
Our model represents the original "Alice" as originally built, and comes in the livery quoted on the Hunslet order. Painted Midland Railway colour throughout She comes with virtually everything that was present on the full size engine.
Twin cylinders with automatic drains, Stephensons link valve gear with cab reverser, screw down brake gear, hand and axle boiler feed pumps, coal fired copper boiler, displacement lubricator, water and pressure gauges, etc. Alice will pull up to four adults on level track (1 in 100 gradient) and is as capable and characterfull as her full size counterparts.
The 2019 batch of Alice models feature a wealth of detail bringing it more in line with the larger high detail models our customers have come to expect, additional details include: working doors on the cab back, brass shroud around the base of the safety valves, firing tools holders & high detail double dummy lubricators on the saddle tank.

Available as a fully painted kit complete for you to build at home or ready to run, straight out of the box. An additional starter set, including coal, steam oil, blower and firing tools is also available for purchase seperately.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
The cancellation of any order or service within 7 working days will not incur a penalty. This period runs from the day the contract is concluded for services & the day after the day of delivery for goods. After this all order & services will be subject to a 20% administration charge. Defective items will be replaced free of charge; any other item returned to us will incur a restocking charge of 20%. We do not supply books on approval.
